Lighthouse clothing cater for men, women and children with their main vibe being great quality, comfortable clothing that is stylish but still practical enough for every day life. They are a new brand to me but having just moved to the Wirral I think their clothing range is perfect for our many sea side adventures and was delighted when they asked me to do a Lighthouse Clothing review.
They have so many lovely products to choose from so to try and get a feel for their different lines I opted for a jumper and a dress. When the clothes arrived I was immediately impressed with the quality of both pieces and here you can find out why.
The Lighthouse Clothing Review
The jumper I chose was the Shore Sweatshirt in Pistachio, a colour that I don’t normally wear but actually really like. The Shore range is one of Lighthouse clothing’s signature styles and gives off a country or sea side walk vibe, perfect for what I wanted it for. It is a half zip funnel neck pull over which sits just below the hips making it the perfect length.
The sweatshirt is made from a thick heavy weight cotton that makes it look and feel expensive. I love the attention to detail like the addition of the front pocket that can be accessed from both sides and the blue denim trim on the cuffs of the arms and around the neckline along with the brown faux leather zip pull, all aspects that had to the style and reinforce the quality of the product. I also found that the fit is true to size so need to order up or down with this one.
The Shore Sweatshirt is available in sizes 8-20 and in 7 different colours
- Cloud Claret Strips
- Midnight Strip
- Navy Blue
- Pistachio
- Seagrass Navy Strip
- Teal
- Watermelon
So there is bund to be at least one colour, if not several, for everyone.
I also ordered the Ariella dress in Raspberry Black Floral and again was really impressed with the quality. It’s a cotton stretch jersey midi dress with buttons running down the front. The thick cotton material is perfect for the colder months as we transition through to spring and you can easily layer it up with vests tops and cardigans when needed thanks to the collard neckline. The midi leg length also means that the dress works well with boots, heals, flats or even sandals come summer making it very versatile.
For me it’s all about the pockets when I buy a dress and the Ariella dress comes complete with two deep waist height pockets which are great.
I also really like the pattern, which is actually made up of hand drawn prints in lovely shades of pink and purples. I have already worn this dress both for work and out to a celebratory brunch and think it looks equally nice for both. I teamed mine with a strappy top underneath and a large belt to help bring it in at the waist.
This dress is available in sizes 8-20 and can be ordered in two other colours, navy motif and Raspberry dash, both of which look really nice.
Overall, I would say that I am very impressed with Lighthouse clothing. Their fit is true to size, quality is fantastic and their sizing is inclusive not forgetting the fact that pieces are both stylish and practical too. I am definitely a Lighthouse Clothing convert.
