Mother’s Day is only a matter of weeks a way giving you the perfect excuse to spoil your mum or those you see as a motherly figure in your life. Most mums, myself included, will be happy with anything and truly believe that it is the thought that counts. They will relish those chocolates, admire the flowers and enjoy the wine but if you are looking for something a little bit different then I have put together a list of some of Mother’s Day gift ideas to help inspire you.
A personalised leather purse
Every mum needs a purse and these leather ones from Scaramanga are just beautiful and you can have them personalised with a name across the front in gold for free. Made from durable Hunter leather these purses measure 19cm x 12cm and have compartments for your notes, coins and credit cards as well as a zipped compartment for your phone, perfect for keeping everything together and the best bit is despite looking very expensive they are currently only £46.
Better you gift set
BetterYou is a company that I have mentioned a few times on my blog and one that I have not only worked with but have also purposefully gone out and bought products from as I think they are amazing, especially their Magnesium flakes that I used regularly in the bath whilst pregnant. BetterYou have a range of products and gift sets that you could treat your mum to but one that we have not featured before is their Bestseller Bundle that contains four of their top selling products:
- DLux 3000 Vitamin D Oral Spray – 15ml (essential for strong teeth and bones)
- Boost B12 Oral Spray – 25ml (effective for of energy)
- CBD Oral Spray – 25ml
- Magnesium Flakes – 1KG (soothes tired and aching muscles)
and retails at £43. Help your mum look after her health this Mother’s Day.
A Dash Cam
If you have a little bit of a bigger budget and are buying for a mum who drives then what better than a dash cam. This gift is not only impressive and practical but it could also prove priceless in the future if the recorded footage is ever required. Dash cams are being more and more popular nit just for the their ability to record information that could be used as evidence after the fact but also for giving some drivers the confidence to drive further a field, on motorways or in conditions that might not normally. This specific Dash Cam is the NextBase 222 and costs £64.
Afternoon tea for two
If a physical gift is not what you are looking for then maybe an experience would be better and BuyaGift have loads to choose from including afternoon tea. There are hundreds of locations across the country that offer these through Buyagift and you can choose from a traditional one, to an Italian one, alcohol free or add on a bottle of something fancy, the choice is endless but the one thing they all do have in common is the ability to offer you some nice food and drink in a lovely setting and the chance to spend some quality time with your mum this Mother’s Day.
Picnic Backpack
March may not be sunny enough for picnics and walks in the countryside but that doesn’t mean you can’t buy her a gift ready for the spring and summer months and this green geo picnic backpack is perfect for just that. Available from VonShef as a two person or 4 person set, it is the ideal gift for a mum who loves the outdoors.
The four person set, priced at £34.99, contains
4 stainless steel knives, forks & spoons,
4 plates,
4 wine glasses,
4 cotton napkins,
salt and pepper shakers,
a serrated butter knife,
a plastic chopping board
and a bottle opener.
A gift to do together
If you are helping a child find a gift for their mummy this Mother’s Day then maybe this So Bomb DIY set is just what you are looking for. It is the perfect excuse to have some time together and get creative, making 10 crystal geode bath bombs in an array of colours that they can both enjoy.
and if you want to stick with the traditional chocolates then why not go for some a little more indulgent like the Guylian Belgian chocolates that are so very delicious and that little bit fancier than your average box of chocolates.
What ever you decide to get your mum this mother’s day make sure you give it to her with a smile and a simple I love you.
