This week I have been reviewing some Rio Rosa Mosqueta beauty products and you can find out what I thought of them below, but first..
What is Rio Rosa Mosqueta?
Rio Rosa Mosqueta is a range of products that are 100% natural, non toxic, gentle alternatives used for scar reduction and fighting the signs of aging. All the products are based on the inclusion of pure Chilean rosehip seed oil. An oil that is renowned for its healing benefits. There are currently seven products available and the lovely people over at Rio Rosa Mosqueta sent me two to review, the Rio Rosa Mosqueta eye contour cream and the Rio Rosa Mosquera pure Chilean rosehip seed oil.
The Rio Rosa Mosqueta Eye Contour Cream review
The Ri Rosa Mosqueta eye contour cream is enriched with natural plant oils including Rosehip, antioxidant-rich Sacha Inchi oil and Babassu butter, Manilkara, white tea and eyebright to plump away fine lines. I found the cream itself to be thick and nourishing with a lovely subtle scent. As you are only applying this cream to the outside of your eye area and not your whole face you only need to use a very small amount meaning. A a result the 15ml bottle lasts a good while and at roughly £10 a tube it is very good value for money. From the first application I found this eye cream made the skin around my eyes feel soft yet tight as if it was working immediately and after just 3 weeks I could see a slight difference but feel an even bigger one.
The Pure Chilean Rosehip Seed Oil review
This is the first time I have used an oil based face product instead of a thicker moisturising cream and I must admit I am very impressed. This particular face oil is naturally rich in vitamins, A,C and E and essential fatty acids which are important for skin regeneration. It claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, scars, stretchmarks, sun damage and dry skin. It has the same subtle scent as the eye contour cream and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. After only a couple of weeks I was surprised to notice a slight improvement on my caesarean scar, despite it saying it could take 6 months. As with the eye contour cream, you only need to use a very small amount of this product making it very good value for money at around £16 for 20ml.
Overall my first impressions of the Rio Rosa Mosqueta products are that they are good quality, affordable products that do what they say. They have a nice subtle scent that it not too over powering and are easy to apply quick drying products.
